AI OVERVIEW: All Saints is celebrated with a litany that presents the saints as concrete models of faith for imitation. The first reading emphasizes that our citizenship is in heaven, urging believers to live as early adopters of Christ rather than being defined by earthly concerns. The gospel parable about a steward highlights prudent action and reliance on the master, used to contrast worldly prudence with the heavenly calling, while prayers petition the church, lawmakers, those who despair, this faith community, the departed, and the communion of saints. The Eucharist and parish prayer unite the faithful with the saints and with the Spirit, seeking ongoing conversion and unity.
