AI OVERVIEW: Demons and powers of darkness are real, opposing God’s purposes and attacking believers in areas like health, marriage, and family, often bringing fear or intrusive thoughts. In the gospel accounts, Jesus demonstrates authority over them—casting out a demon from a man in the synagogue who cried out, and the crowd witnessing that even evil spirits obey him. The teaching urges a threefold pattern: submit to God first, resist the devil, and proclaim truth to drive back darkness, moving from defense to offensive, for the sake of those you love.
