AI OVERVIEW: Saul approved Stephen’s death and began to destroy the church, going from house to house, dragging men and women out and putting them in prison. On the Damascus Road a light from heaven flashed around him, he fell, and Jesus spoke, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,' directing him to the city for instructions. The men with him heard the voice but saw no one, and Saul was blind for three days as he awaited what God would tell him to do next. The message highlights memorizing Acts 1:8—'you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses'—and introduces Revelation 21:1–4 with image-based memory aids.
